Pray.Global
No app required. No account to remember. Just text messages.
Tell us your city or ZIP code so prayer times are calculated for where you actually are.
Pick your calculation method, Asr method, and which prayers you want alerts for.
Get a text at each prayer time — plus a daily schedule so you can see the whole day at once.
You can change any of these settings later by text — no reinstalling or logging into an app.
Every prayer alert includes the saved location it was calculated for, so you can always see which ZIP/location was used — helpful if you've traveled since your last alert.
Traveling? Text CHANGE and update your ZIP when you arrive.
Prayer calculation methods can differ by region, organization, and scholarly convention. Pray.Global lets you choose the method you follow.

Your local mosque may use a different method or local adjustment.
Asr's start time depends on how long a shadow needs to grow before Asr begins — different schools of thought use different shadow-length rules. Pray.Global supports both:
Asr begins when an object's shadow equals its own length (plus the shadow length at noon).
Asr begins later — when an object's shadow reaches twice its own length (plus the noon shadow).
Islamic Midnight is not necessarily 12:00 AM on the clock. It represents the midpoint of the religious night according to the selected calculation convention.

Jafari, Tehran
Pray.Global automatically uses the appropriate convention based on your selected calculation method — there's nothing extra to choose.
Two prayer-time sources can legitimately disagree, for a few common reasons:
If your local mosque publishes different times, we recommend following your local mosque or trusted religious authority. Pray.Global is a calculation and notification service, not a religious authority.
Prayer times are generated using your saved location, local timezone, and selected calculation method, applied through established astronomical prayer-time formulas.
Pray.Global uses established PrayTimes calculation methodology to generate prayer times from your location and selected method, based on a PHP implementation of the PrayTimes.org approach originally developed by Hamid Zarrabi-Zadeh. Learn more about calculations.
